The best way to hone writing skills, learn what’s new and network with editors, agents and other writers is to attend writer’s conferences. Below are some of my favorites.
WRITER’S CONFERENCES that I have attended and would recommend
• Colorado Christian Writer’s Conference held in the spring in Estes Park. I highly recommend this conference to any level of writer. This is a good conference for the beginner to wet their toes at pitching to agents and editors, even if your novel isn’t complete
• American Christian Fiction Writer’s Conference. Very professional conference. The agents and editors are only interested in finished novels, so it is a little more advanced in that respect. There are classes for all level of writers.
• Northern Colorado Writer’s Conference. This is a worthwhile conference to attend with great classes and speakers–plus it is a lot of fun.
